The annual Penguin Paddle to benefit the Loundsbury Adaptive Ski Program at Holiday Valley, Saturday February 25! Everyone is welcome to participate for a small donation of $1.00. Not everyone can say they had the opportunity to slide down the bottom of Yodeler slope on their belly “penguin style.”

Raffle Tickets on sale all day at Yodeler
11:30 to 2:00 Silent and Live Auction in the tent at the base of Yodeler
11:30 to 1:15 Lunch in the Lunch Tent, $5 donation.

Boarding For Breast Cancer February 11

The Boardroom and Holiday Valley will be hosting the fourth annual B4BC board-a-thon on February 11. This years activities to raise cancer awareness will include: Special riding clinic for women, a park contest open to men and women, local shop demos, a cancer awareness outreach booth, silent and Chinese auctions and an awards reception party.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Buffalo area’s Women’s Oncology Program at Camp Good Days and Boarding for Breast Cancer Awareness Programs.

The Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring a shuttle service December 26 thru January 1, 2012. The Ellicottville Shuttle will run daily from 8am to 3am ending with the last ride at 10:30pm Sunday Jan. 1. The Shuttle will travel from the Wingate parking lot in the Village to HoliMont, back to the Village then along the 219 to Holiday Valley with stops along the way. The cost to ride will be $3 per person one way and if this service proves to be a success then the Chamber will be running the Shuttle weekends throughout the season. So when you see the Ellicottville Shuttle drive by…don’t be afraid to flag it and…GET ON THE BUS!
