The fourth annual Holiday Valley Mudslide will be held June 20th and it is a mud run that’s FUN. Yes, you’ll get muddy, yes there is running, yes there are 8 obstacles but NO fire, NO barbed wire and NO electric shocks! The 3.5 mile course starts at the top of the mountain at Spruce Lake (we’ll even give you a ride up on a chairlift) and runs along the ridge line then down the hill. The 5.4 mile course adds a bit of uphill running, just in case you’re feeling especially tough.

Yeeehaw!! An honest-to-goodness rodeo at the home of the Nightmare Hayrides on Sommerville Street, complete with bronco bustin’, bull riding, calf roping, barrel racing and stick horse racing for the kids.Show times: July 2nd, 3rd and 4th at 7pm and matinee show Sunday, July 5th at 2pm.
Gates open 2 hours prior to shows so you can check out the vendors. Plenty of food and drinks available including the ever-popular chicken bbq.
Kids age 10 and under are invited to bring their own stick horse, saddle up and get ready for the 10th annual Kids Stick Horse Round-Up. Register 1 hour before each show. Don’t have your own stick horse? Purchase one at the Rodeo Tack Shop the day of the Rodeo.
