The highlight of this fun filled weekend is the Saturday evening Mardi Gras Parade on Washington Street in the Village. You will experience the zaniest costumes and the most Mardi Gras style, family friendly fun around! Yeeehaw!! An honest-to-goodness rodeo at the home of the Nightmare Hayrides on Sommerville Street, complete with bronco bustin’, bull riding, calf roping, barrel racing and stick horse racing for the kids.Show times: July 2nd, 3rd and 4th at 7pm and matinee show Sunday, July 5th at 2pm.
Gates open 2 hours prior to shows so you can check out the vendors. Plenty of food and drinks available including the ever-popular chicken bbq.
Kids age 10 and under are invited to bring their own stick horse, saddle up and get ready for the 10th annual Kids Stick Horse Round-Up. Register 1 hour before each show. Don’t have your own stick horse? Purchase one at the Rodeo Tack Shop the day of the Rodeo.

Friday July 4th- Celebrate the July 4th holiday with the Top of the Mountain Party, where you will enjoy a ride up the Mardi Gras Chairlift to an old fashioned adult Carnival themed Party at the top. The party will include a full dinner with stations, with delicacies like a Coney Island Steamer station, Mahi Mahi Taco station, Wok station and more. There will also be lots of fun adult carnival games, entertainment and a cash bar. This event is now SOLD OUT.
Saturday July 5th- The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing on the slopes of Holiday Valley at 8pm with a stunning firework display. Tickets are $35 and children 12 and under are free. A VIP weekend package is also available that includes a Sponsors dinner this evening.
Sunday July 6th- The GRAMMY®-nominated Gin Blossoms will be performing slope-side at Holiday Valley Resort with an opening performance by Nelson Star and the Benjamins. Tickets are $35 and children 12 and under are free.
This fun filled, family friendly weekend also offers an Art and Craft show in the heart of the Village, a Pet Parade and the ever popular Strawberry Festival.
Tickets for the B.P.O. and the Gin Blossoms are also available at any area Wegmans Store.

Jazz and Blues weekend in Ellicottville is a boutique experience, wander through the village and choose from a variety of Jazz and Blues performance areas ranging from restaurants, bars & nightclubs, street-side, and the Village Square July 24-26, 2014. The Wingate by Wyndham is located in the Village, within walking distance to all the venues. Stay tuned for the 2015 line-up.
